Your experience:

  • Around 3 years of experience in a medical communications or healthcare advertising agency

  • A life sciences degree and PhD

  • Thorough understanding of client approval platforms

  • Excellent Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Experience working to ABPI codes of practice

  • The ability to build strong client relationships

  • Experience training and upskilling junior writers

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy working autonomously

Account manager

Are you an experienced Account Manager looking to shake things up? Do you want to widen your experience into other avenues of medical communications? Perhaps you’re looking for more freedom and flexibility?
 

If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then a position at Beyond Science could be right for you. As a start-up, we are after someone who wants to have a real impact on the company and help us to develop and grow. As a remote-based agency, we’re looking for someone who wants to help foster a strong team culture and spirit with their Beyond Science colleagues. And as we work on short-term contracts, someone who relishes building strong relationships with their clients to encourage repeat business.

Requirements:

  • Around 3 years of experience in a medical communications or healthcare advertising agency

  • A life sciences degree

  • The ability to build strong client and colleague relationships

  • Good strategic knowledge

  • Experience new business pitching

  • Experience mentoring junior team members

  • Thorough understanding of client approval platforms

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficient at Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience working to ABPI codes of practice

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy working autonomously

 

As a middle-weight account handler, our clients will depend on you to manage and deliver a range of projects, both print and digital, within medical education, healthcare advertising and/or PR. A thirst for knowledge and the ability to onboard onto new therapy areas quickly will be crucial. In addition, you will need to think strategically, being able to suggest relevant and interesting tactics to solve issues. As you will be integrated into your client’s team, you’ll also need to liaise effectively with all internal departments.

Medical copywriter

You will be joining a fully remote agency so there is no need to worry about office commutes once COVID is finally over. Whether you want to work at home, a shared office, or on a beach in Spain, we’re happy as long as you are a resident of the UK and can get the work done during UK office hours.

 

Our two main priorities while developing the business at this early stage are creating a balanced relationship with work and building a team that can feed off each other. So, in addition to your writing or management prowess, we’d love to hear more about you –
